Advanced recycling processing of metal-plastic composites for the metal recycling industry.
Separating metal-resin composites that cannot be distinguished through thermal decomposition for resource recovery. Suitable for everything from mixed scrap to solar panels.
Composite materials that integrate metal and resin are waste that is difficult to dispose of due to high separation costs. This includes "mixed" scrap generated from manufacturing sites and back sheets of solar panels. Because different materials are combined, they do not fit into existing recycling flows and have been sent to landfills or exported overseas. Pyrolinergy thermally decomposes these composites, separating metals as solid residues and resin components into oil and carbonized materials. This allows for the recovery of composite waste that has been difficult to process, turning it into resources and achieving local and domestic recycling. ■ Features - Even integrated molded products of metal and resin, or products coated with resin, can be separated and recovered by material. This includes scrap that is labor-intensive to sort, such as cooler piping, appliance wires and harnesses, stabilizers, and circuit boards. - The back sheets of solar panels can also be thermally decomposed. The previously unestablished recycling flow for back sheets is broken down, separating carbonized residues containing rare metals like silver from resin-derived oils. - The separated resin components can be converted into oil and carbonized for recovery, allowing for reuse as resources (depending on the input materials). - For materials where disposal routes are shrinking due to strengthened export regulations and high recycling costs, we provide processing methods that can be completed domestically.
